ASG2015/7

For the hometown Reds fans, there wasn't much in the 2015 All-Star Game to cheer about from a strictly parochial perspective.  That is, until, the 9th Inning!

Aroldis "the Cuban Missile" Chapman was summoned from his lair deep within the bullpen to pitch.

It must be said, here, that the wild enthusiasm which we all shared for Chappy and which was on display for the eyes of the baseball world to see that July evening was of a time and place before we knew that he was a violent, dangerous threat to civil society.  This was back when we only suspected he was a violent, dangerous threat to civil society.

Thanks to MLB's historic first-ever suspension for domestic abuse, the Cuban Misogynist will miss the first 30 games of the 2016 season. These are likely to be the only game photos you see of Chappy until sometime in April.
